Cracked Ice has sometimes been listed as a Devils' book, but isn't
specifically (I'm pretty sure it covers the 95 win, but it's been a
long time since I read it and other books have covered the subject
matter much better). A book was given to STHs or maybe just gold
circle around 7? years ago (maybe more) that probably was written by
Fischler considering he's "written" (one of his books had to be pulled
off the shelves because of plagiarism) probably 1 in 3 books on hockey
if not a higher percentage. His quality varies wildly. "Those Were
The Days" is the one I think is best of those I have as it is mostly
written straight from interviews. I'm currently reading John
Ferguson's bio which was co-written by Stan and Shirley and is one of
his better of that sort of book.
