Maybe you are talking about the book Pain & Progress by Stan Fischler. I
am 99% that this was a giveaway to season ticket holders only. It chronicled
the years of the Devils up until 94 or 95. Anyway it is a great book and if
you can find it, I suggest you pick it up.
