Same here, I'd hate to see Holik leave but it's out of the fans' =
control at this point.And maybe Lou's, if Holik has his mind made up to =
leave the team (we don't know if he does or not but one can never tell). =
Perhaps Madden would really blossom if given 'third line' =
responsibilities, hell.. the guy already has a Selke after his 2nd =
season and who's to say he can't win another one or two? I think losing =
Holik's size would hurt the team, though - he's one reason other teams =
get aggravated and the Holik/Arnott combo is a bruising one if you're =
the opposing team.
Speaking of salaries.. my Ranger buddy had some amusement over the =
fact that OUR team may have a higher payroll than HIS this season. I =
informed him that his sorry ass pathetic team has been ONE major =
contributor to the ludicrious, skyrocketing salaries and has also been a =
factor for why NJ has trouble signing their OWN players at times (they =
look across the river and get jealous at the $$$ the Lamejerks earn).
I also told him that at least my team 'wins' whereas his sucked d-k =
for the most $$ in the NHL; he of course had to admit I was right and =
eat his words, LMAO.
