Well, as annoyed as I am with Holik's reaction, I also don't want to see him
leave and hope he can get over these 'hard feelings'. I just can't
understand why these players get so freakin' upset when they KNOW the team
is going to downgrade him so they don't have to pay him what he wants. This
happens to ALOT of players when they choose arbitration... I've read about
other cases and have seen some players complaining how they felt their team
dissed them too much.

  And on the flip side, the player toots his own horn a ridiculous amount
and probably makes himself out to be better than he is in an attempt to get
the most $ :). Do you think Holik was there at the arbitrator hearing sayinh
"You know, I disappear offensively for a while at times and don't score any
goals"... NO, I doubt it, not if he wanted his 4.5 mil :).
