>Just in case anyone missed it, I saw on an ESPN sports ticker that
>Lindros just signed with the Rangers for four years. Luckily for
>them, they'll only have to pay for half a year or so before he gets
>knocked out again. If I remember correctly, the Flyers will get
>three players and a draft pick. If Chechmaneck keeps playing well,
>they'll be a real good team.

A damn good team... I guess Philly felt that it should do a
tit-for-tat. After Quebec royally ripped them off by getting a LOT of
youth and talent for Lindros, Philly will now get some youth and
talent (Brendl + future draft pick) back...

There is only one thing I don't understand. By coming back, Eric
Lindros is proving that there is nothing inside his head. So how does
he possibly keep getting these concussions?

P.S. Shall we start a pool guessing when during the season Eric gets
his next concussion and also his next extended leave? (as I write
this I got another e-mail taking game 6 of the 2001-2002 season (-: ).

P.P.S. - The other thing this does is ensure that the Rangers (a)
will not make the playoffs again this season as they are paying way
too much money for loser players and (b) will not make the playoffs
for many years to come, because I've got a feeling they just pulled
another Doug Weight (traded a future NHL star).
