The "mediocre" player you bash had 10 points in the Cup run. Do you know what Rolston's career playoff points total is? 10 points. The same as this washed up player got in one year when he was over the hill. I'll say it again. Rolston and the 27th pick for the 22nd and 57th pick isn't that far of his value. Add in the 81st pick we got for losing Lemieux, and ignoring his other contributions, and it looks even better. Don't ignore his performance and it is a good deal. Maybe not a great one, but certainly not a bad deal, or a horrid one as you say.
