Record (sorry if that name is wrong - i read it online). Robinson is laying
ALL the blame on others. He should look at himself first. HE'S the head
coach - it's up to him to sort this out and shut up whining.

Here's the thing.. Robinson has surely done things wrong like his team; no
one is perfect. In fact, I don't really agree with his choice to put the
A-Line up against the Sakic line.
However, don't you think there's something wrong if the coach HAS to
motivate a team for the CUP FINALS? These players should be capable of
self-motivating themselves in a situation as major as that. So, I actually
lay the most blame at the players at this point.
Also, how the hell can the A-Line say they are playing 'well" with a
straight face? Are they for real?
A few things from article that you posted that I wonder about..
<<"This is no longer just an indictment of his players, but the coach too.
Sometimes, Robinson's words suggest he's a passive spectator, paralyzed to
create change on the ice. It's no accident. One of the biggest criticisms of
Robinson's four years with the Los Angeles Kings was his refusal to carry
out threats of benchings for undisciplined players.">>
Let's see.. Colin White benched for a period when he took a LAME penalty
against the Leafs.. Gomez basically benched almost whole 3rd in Game 3 of
this series... it looks to me that he WILL bench guys if he feels the need
to. Too bad so far they haven't learned much from it (at least Whitey
didn't, since he kept taking stupid penalties). Or maybe Gomer will....
.
<<"To listen to Robinson tell it, the reluctance of the Kings to work hard
made him want to walk out on that job. To listen to the Kings tell it, they
were confounded with his constant line changes and endless tinkering. ">>
Hmm if anything, I think he hasn't tinkered with the lines ENOUGH. Am I
the only one who thinks so? AlMo and Gomer MUST be split up, that is all
there is to it. They both suck at the moment and I'm sick of watching htem
do nothing together. I'd change up another line too.
