I don't buy the fresher bit. Each team went 5 in the COnf Finals and 7 in rd 2.
The only gp difference goes all the way back to round 1. Colorado had to work
to beat St. Louis with three games going to OT. We steamrolled Pittsburgh.
We roll four lines giving people all reletively equal ice time. Colorado
doesn't. Their stars (Bourque, Foote, Blake, Sakic, Tanguay, Hajduk and Drury)
log significantly more ice time than their Devil counterparts. Also, Colorado
has gone to OT 6 times and we have only done it 3 times and each time it was
over pretty quick. If anything we should be fresher. As I said, I think we can
still pull this off. It was never going to be easy. This is it though. Larry
did his trash kicking deal after the last game so this is their last chance to
show what they can do as Larry has used up all his tricks.
