[Devils-list] Gomes/White vs. Weight/Poti

I think I would probably make this trade.  The Devils never seem to have a 
shortage of skilled small players like a Gomez or Gionta.  Gomez is a good 
solid player but his stats really weren't that impressive considering he had 
Mogilny firing in drop passes at the blue line all the time and anyone could 
make that play.  On top of that Mogilny is a great playmaker who couldn't 
get Gomez to score, Gomez and Niedermayer are only slightly better at 
finishing than Pandolfo.  Now Doug Weight is amazing.  Hes a superstar, you 
could easily argue Weight stepping into the team and being the most talented 
player, even more talented than Elias.  Yes Weight wants a lot of money, but 
hes worth it, and this is the first offseason with new management so we'll 
see how much money they feel they can spend now.  I would do this trade in a 
second if I was offered it, the only problem I can see is the fact that 
Weight is injury prone, but if we're talking talent-wise then Weight is a 
lot better than Gomez.
