I thought I had read that the United deal fell through- originally THAT, I
believe was going to be what YankeeNets became. Not sure if I am remembering
right though.

IIRC they talked about some kind of deal with Manchester United when they
first started talking about their own network. While that might not mean
that much in the US, it would probably make them viable internationally.
