I like this deal for the Islanders. Between the Yashin deal and the dea;
for Aucoin from Tampa the Islanders 2001-02 are better today than they
were yesterday. There is a lot of pressure on Milbury to be good next
year. If they aren't he will be fired.
The possible Lindros deal scares me. CBC reported (then backtracked a bit)
that the deal would be Lindros to Detroit for Fedorov and Ward. That would
be huge for Philly.
A couple other trades:
Quintal from CHI to MTL for a 4th rd pick
Berezin from TOR to PHX for Mikael Reneberg
Martin Biron (D) and 2nd rd pick from NYI to TB for Aucoin and Kharitonov
