That is the ASSUMED policy... but has anyone ever seen that in print and

I wouldn't think this is true just because of his salary. Isn't the
policy that no one gets more than Marty, who makes about 4.5? Hence this
makes no sense. If Lou's going to go after any big names, it should be Rob
Blake. Of course, that won't happen for the above reason.

could be remembering wrong, but I was listening to the game right before
we traded for Arnie and the Edmonton guys were going on and on about how
bad the relations were between evertyhing Edmonton and Jason
Arnott...the
announcers DO tend to overexagerate, so I don't know if it was all true,
but why bring together two guys that just WON'T work together?
Plus...that's giving up a WHOLE lot of youth...I still say give Colin
some
time to develop and he's going to turn out to be a pretty decent
player...and Gomer already is...I hope Lou isn't going Ranger-like on us
