I've written to the Devils about this (via their website) about these
packages...every team except us and Boston (big surprise there) has these
packages. I guess they'd rather have the building 2/3 or 3/4 full with
everyone there paying full price than having the place entirely full with 1/2
of the folks paying less than full price. This is what Lou Lamoriello said
when he came to the Devils Fan Club meeting at the beginning of the season.
If you get folks in the door (by giving them a $ break), they'll probably
come back (even at full price).
Go to the Devils website and send an e-mail to the Devils' management. If a
bunch of people write, maybe they'll investigate it further....
then again, maybe not!
