[Devils-list] I think this is true (although Rutgers should remain Rutgers)

As a STH though, I wouldn't like this. I always look at the number of
promotions that the Isles offer and wonder why anyone would buy the
full package (ignoring the team) since they're constantly offer free
hats, tshirts, food, etc. along with discounted tickets and from what I
can tell, the STHs don't get all of this.

Yes, we get a discount on our tickets, but there's a reason for that
and if start diluting the worth of that discount you might end up
losing some of the STHs who don't make every game and decide they'd be
better off just taking the specials on occasion.

Now if they want to give me everything on top of my STH discount
(which, afterall, is in exchange for them getting my money upfront and
for every single game incl. preseason), then I'd be okay with it. If
not, I'd be pissed at anything other than targeted discounts (i.e.
having a school program and then offering discounted tickets through
that school for the next game) - those are also the discounts that tend
to work best and don't give folks the attitude that they should always
"get a deal" on a ticket and not be willing to pay full price.

(oh, pictures of Gionta and Clemmensen from Hockey East - I don't think
I got any of Dziama unless he's one of the scratches in the background
of the celebrating - are up now with their pictures identified at
least. If you haven't voted for Gionta for the Hobey Baker in the
final round (earlier it was for nominees), do so now -
http://www.uscho.com - you can only vote once in this round and must
vote for all three slots (just check the standings first and give the 2
last place guys your 2 & 3 slots))
