I even suggested to Management that during the playoffs last year that th=
ey open the arena so that we could all come and watch the games during th=
e finals, I know that the Wings do this and so have other teams - I sugge=
sted that they encourage people to bring canned food in lieu of a ticket =
fee but that the parking fee could go to a charity also. They looked abso=
lutely horrified that anyone would even consider this. They gave me a lin=
e that it wouldn't be worth opening the building - but I think it would h=
ave been great to be with friends at the arena when Jason had scored that=
game winning goal. Also remember how they wouldn't even tell us when th=
e team was arriving home from Dallas so that a crowd could welcome them h=
ome - sometimes I think they just don't care enough about the fans.<br cl=
