*shakes head*. Well, that sucked. How many posts did we hit? We kept
battling and that is good but ugh losing to the Rangers?! Our defense was
really weak. They had lots of great opportunities in front of the net. We
suck in afternoon games. We had a chance to jump out to a big lead early
and Hebert was outstanding. After Sykora hit the post on that shorthanded
breakaway you could feel the momentum shifting. Those two goals in 12
seconds were an abomination. 

What the hell was Arnott doing getting involved in that scrum? I know he
wants to stick up for Elias but it's a long game. You gotta pick your
spots better.

I was also less than impressed with the play of Niedermayer. His head just
looked like it was elsewhere way too much. Speaking of defense, O'Donnell
still makes too many mistakes. 

We need to work on our extra-attacker game plan. Having the puck stuck
against the boards for a minute is not going to cut it.

How bout Mogilny? He is so awesome. He has a great shot at breaking the
club goal mark.

I was reading the USA Today award email and was disappointed that White
was not mentioned as a possible Calder candidate. His +/- is obscene and
he is a strong defensive player.

I'll trade The Streak for another Cup but this is three subpar efforts in
four games. That is unacceptable. Meanwhile, Ottawa keeps winning. I don't
want Toronto in round 1. 


Oh, well, back at it on Monday.
