Marty is the man. He has won TWO Stanley Cups with us. His playoff
record is stellar. He might have let in a soft goal or two on Saturday,
but the team also collapsed in front of him in the third period. Why are
y'all so itchy to get him out of there? Keep in mind that even though
the Beez looked strong after coming to the Devils, he has been used like
a bitch when the Devils faced him in the playoffs. He has a weak five
hole. I don't think there is any need to put Beezer in there unless
Marty continues to struggle, and the team is facing elimination.

Keep in mind that Broduer has NEVER been pulled from a playoff game that
he started. Even Patrick Roy and Curtis Joseph cannot make that
claim.....

Relax.  Yes, Marty looked like shit the other night.  But really, how often
does that ever happen?  This guy is pretty much a model of consistency who
makes his living by being in position, unlike some of the snow angel goalies
out there. If he had a shit night because he was out of position, you can
bet that he and Jacques Caron were watching tape and working on it the next
day.  Probably (hopefully?) won't happen again.  The good part is, he
realizes what the problem was.  I'd rather hear him saying "Yeah, I was out
of position" than "Gee, I don't know what happened.  Everything just seemed
to be getting by me last night."

He'll be fine.

Rick

GOOD GOD!!!!  If Marty thought he was in "good position" on those *5* goals
he allowed.....what's gonna be the result when he's in horrid
position???!!!???!!!!
"Couldn't let myself look back"???!!  Umm, I'm no NHL coach....but I really
think Mart-an needs to review these tapes........PRONTO!!!!!
