I bet Quinn posted this. First of all, "Niedermayer got hurt a little too
seriously"? Are you kidding me? Does that mean it would've been ok if he
HADN'T been taken off the ice on a stretcher? Then there's this follow-up
comment:"maybe lying on the ice motionless was a strategic move on his
part." Right. Too bad he couldn't of cut himself with a razor like a
wrestler to REALLY get him in trouble. Unbelievable. How can anyone justify
what Domi did? Why would you want to defend something like this? If one of
our players had done this, I can't see anyone on this list or ANY Devil fan
I know defending it. If this doesn't fire up the team, what will? I hope the
CAA will be a mad house on Saturday. Maybe they should give out free beer to
the first 19,039 people ;o)

why don't we all stop feeling sorry for poor old nidermayer ... remember
this is the guy that swung his stick at peter worrell's head in a definate
intent to injure last year ... today he was just on the recieving end of
stupidity. No doubt that domi did a stupid thing, this is probably going to
come back to haunt the leafs cuz the devils are MAD !! But i don't think
that the intent to injure was there ... if you look at the replay, you will
find 20 more similar types of elbows to the head in a playoff game such as
this one ... nidermayer just got hurt a little too seriously ... but wasn't
he walking around in their dressing room after the game ... so he's not that
hurt, maybe his lying motionless on the ice was a strategic move on his part
in order to get domi in trouble and the rest of the devils fired up .......
ya never know !!
