It is pretty sad that these idiot fans think Nied is FAKING what =
happened. Just because he can walk around on his own afterward does NOT =
mean he had no concussion. My guess is that even if he were able to =
walk, he sure as hell wasn't very alert and probably seemd *very* woozy. =
I guess having his eyes almost roll back into his head was also a =
'strategic move' that he faked to elicit sympathy?
If one of our players had done this, I can't see anyone on this list =
or ANY Devil fan I know defending it. If this doesn't fire up the team, =
what will>>
If one of our players had taken out Sundin with a flying elbow =
with 7 sec left and we'd just won the game 3-1, I would be livid. The =
idiot would get suspended (Domi better be), the media would start =
attacking our team, and it could have given the Leafs motivation to =
really get us back (via cheapshots or scoreboard). Think of how much bad =
press we got over Stevens two CLEAN hits and this is infinitely =
worse!!!!
Toronto didn't react well to alot of media scrutiny back during the =
LindrosGate mess... in fact, they sucked to the point where it was a =
major distraction and they came close to MISSING the playoffs. Now they =
are the #1 story and it's not a pleasant one at that.=20
