[Devils-list] "we" "us" - since when are you on the team?

I know I'm gonna get it for this, but I HAVE to say SOMETHING.

In reading posts here I see every other message people saying "we
scored" and "they scored on us" etc... Since when are you guys on the
team?  Yeah, fans, but NOT Devils team members.   And please don't give
me stuff about team spirit and all that, because you aren't on the team.

Its "the Devils scored" or "Toronto scored on them (or the Devs)".

Sorry, but I can't be the only one who cringes when mere fans talk/write
like they are actually on the team and play the games.


No hard feelings though, and it's your right to talk like that if you
want and I won't complain anymore since I'm sure it won't do any good
anyway.  I guess I'm just really pissed about how this series is going
and the razzing we at work are gonna get from our field guys in the
Toronto area.
