[Devils-list] "we" "us" - since when are you on the team?

Well, no offense, but as much as I want them to win and support them all
season long, I would NEVER consider them like "family", since no one in
my family would totally diss me when I came to greet them like the
Devils did coming home from Dallas last year. Remember when they got
off the bus?
Anyway, not to open up old wounds, but remember that in real life they
don't know you from Adam and probably care even less. These are
professional athletes and as long as they have their hundreds of
thousands or millions of US dollars I can't identify with them since
they live in a different world from me. I drive an $18k vehicle, wear
an inexpensive watch, live in an apartment, and work over 40 hrs a
week. If I put as much effort into my job as they have lately I
wouldn't have one, much less a great paying one like theirs.
I just watch the games, cheer when they score, and curse when they
lose. That's all.
