[Devils-list] "we" "us" - since when are you on the team?

Given how much you guys are going to be paying in taxes for the new
arena on top of what you pay for tickets, you might as well say "we".
The organization wouldn't exist without the fans/community. Which is
why the players at the award dinners take time to thank the fans.
Odd though. In the Olympics it's fine for me to say "we" when
referring to the Canadian team. As in, "we sucked royally last
Olympics". (-: Simply because I am a Canadian and so is the team.
However, it is inappropriate for me to use "we" for my favorite NHL
team. Where is that line?
Anyhow, it's a silly thing to be arguing about. And I think the
flames were more out of frustration from the game than the thread.
Can't we all just get a lawn?
