<DIV></DIV>>Personally, I know little of Canadian history. But I am sure I would be </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>>just as proud to be Canadian if I had grown up there. As it is, I am
<DIV></DIV>>proud that Canada is our northern neighbor. Bottom line is, I guess
<DIV></DIV>>what I'm saying is that, not having come from where the USA has come
<DIV></DIV>>from, it is hard for outsiders to understand the pride we feel in our
<DIV></DIV>>country. We have made mistakes, but we have also accomplished much.
<DIV></DIV>>It's just too bad others in the world feel that, having accomplished
<DIV></DIV>>what we have, it is now open season on us to promote their ideals. I am
<DIV></DIV>>waiting for the day when we will accomplish their eradication from the
<DIV></DIV>>earth.

<DIV> I just have one comment on the history part of all this, how come Americans don't have to learn anything about Canadian history in there schools whereas when i wanted to take a History course, it's American history??? My OAC History class which was Canadian History in a North American Perspective was more American history than it was Canadian, i learned all about the settling of the US and the Civil War and such, and yes it was interesting, but i wanted to do canadian history.....about the only Canadian content in the course was about how when the Americans split from great britain, they thought we were arming all the natives hence the right to bear arms going in the constitution. ah well.</DIV>
