[Devils-list] Continental Airline in trouble

Bethune is a master bluffer.  He's done this plenty of
times before with Continental.  Remember, he brought
this airline back from bankruptcy.

Not to say that Tuesday and the events since then have
not taken a bite out of the industry, but bankruptcy
is probably not going to happen.  The one airline that
has folded, Midway, already had 1 1/2 feet in the
grave before Tuesday's events.  They probably would
not have made it through September, if that.

I think one of the results of this will be that the
federal government takes over security operations at
airports, like most other countries in the world. 
Airport security is not something to be privatized and
worry about making a profit off of.
