About BC Surfer

Well, where do I start? I guess I should start with the so called vitals. OK, now that I have covered the basics lets get more specific.

As I said above, I have been working at the Post Office (No I don't own any guns) since 8/16/86. Before that I worked in a couple warehouses as well as some time in construction. While none of these jobs have been what I'd call ideal, they paid the bills.

As far as my personal interests, I have been a musician since I was 16. I have been a huge New Jersey Devils fan since roughly 1984. I also like the Yankees in baseball and the Jets in football. I love animals, especially my cats. I like Science Fiction, especially Star Wars and all the various Star Trek's.

Obviously, I am into computers. I used to have an old Atari computer, but I never really got too into it back then. In September of 1995, I decided to get a real computer. I bought a 486DX4/100 with 4meg of RAM and a 210meg hard drive. I had no modem and no printer. Within 9 months, I upgraded to a Pentium® 133 with 72 meg of RAM, a 1.28 gig hard drive (In addition to the original 210 meg drive), a 28.8 modem and a Hewlett Packard 600C printer.

Soon after getting that 486 I discovered HTML. When I first got on to the Internet it was through AOL. Unfortunately at that time AOL didn't have any local dial up numbers for me so I quickly changed to a local ISP, Cybernex. When I signed on with Cybernex, I was told that my account came with 5 meg of web space. Since they were giving me the space, I figured I may as well use it. That was the beginning of what I hope is a new career. I now have a small company that designs and hosts web sites called B.A.D. Web Services.

OK, I'm getting tired of typing!!!! Want to know more? Ask!!!
